Rabbit On
by Clover Kreger, written on Nullabor Plain, Australia
Peter Rabbit
had a habit
of kicking up
his fluffy heels
When pursued
he really moved
and more rabbits
from this ensued
From Africa
he started out
now he lives
round and about
With long strong legs
he stays alive
fine ears, a scut
help to survive
Down in Chile
and in Oz
running free
there're rabbit paws
Now there is
in this nation
bunny rabbit
overpopulation
Do I care?
Not much do I
Hop on Peter
Tail held high
